Southeastern Physical Therapy offers numerous programs to meet your child's rehabilitation needs and we treat adults too!


Southeastern’s pediatric Occupational Therapists work to improve a child’s physical development, fine-motor skills, sensory processing skills, social emotional development, cognition, feeding skills and visual processing abilities to maximize skills for daily living. We offer specialty evaluations and interventions to help each child reach their full potential in the following areas:
  • Fine and Gross Motor Skills
  • Self-help Skills
  • Handwriting
  • Social Skills Development
  • Gravitational Insecurity
  • Feeding Disorders/Deficits
  • Sensory Processing and Sensory Integration
  • Adaptive Equipment and Positioning
  • Ortohopedic conditions such as upper extremity/hand disorders or conditions

Southeastern’s pediatric physical therapists work to improve a child’s gross motor ability (large muscle groups) which facilitate improved mobility, coordination and balance. We offer specialty evaluations and therapeutic interventions for the following areas:
  • Motor planning
  • Coordination and balance training
  • Mobility: transfers, floor mobility, ambulation
  • Neuromuscular conditions such as cerebral palsy
  • Orthopedic conditions such as torticollis, hip dysplasia, scoliosis and amputation
  • Musculoskeletal conditions such as decreased strength, muscle tone, muscle control, flexibility, joint motion, posture and endurance
  • Adaptive Equipment Assessment and training (Wheelchairs, walkers, standers, gait trainers, etc.)

Southeastern’s Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologists work with children to improve feeding, articulation skills, expressive and receptive language skills, fluency, voice or other communication skills necessary to participate in everyday activities. We offer individualized evaluations and treatment to help each child reach their full potential in the following areas:
  • Articulation and Phonological Disorders
  • Expressive Communication Delay
  • Language Disorders
