Yolanda is a bilingual speech-language pathologist. She received her B.S. degree in Speech and Hearing Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 1994 and her M.S. in Speech-Language Pathology from Saint Xavier University in 1996.Yolanda is trained in facilitating language development at the infant/toddler and early childhood level. She specializes in treatment in the areas of articulation, receptive and expressive language, and voice, for the early childhood and elementary school-age population. She has had success co-leading the 12-week Hanen Program for Parents, supporting and training parents as language facilitators. Yolanda also has extensive experience providing evaluation and treatment in elementary school settings with multi-cultural and bilingual (Spanish) populations in Illinois and California. Yolanda’s child-centered approach is focused on creating positive learning environments and experiences for children.
